Aug | 23 | Of Men and Mind Control, or, ‘What Me, Worry?’

Dream Word – CONSIDER

2 Timothy 2:14-16 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. KJV.

Of Men and Mind Control, or, ‘What Me, Worry?’

To a large amount of Charismatic Christendom, we seem to live in an age where thinking is paramount to heresy. Indeed, any verbalised thought, any questionable comment regarding the content, style and direction of another man’s ministry, movement or even their maniacal machinations, is often branded by enraptured onlookers, as a direct rebellion against a move of God and that such a questioning rebellion, may according to the enraptured, even emanate from the pit of hell itself!

That strange condemnation of those rightly questioning folk is course a load of old ‘Hoohah.’ In addition to that, the manifestations and actions which people with just a little common sense are questioning is also more than likely a load of old ‘Hoohah!’

It was New York Jew, Harvey Kurtzman, (who by the way, The New York Times refers to as one of the most important figures in post-war America) who introduced the term 'Hoohah' into the vocabulary genre of those most famous of ‘Mad Magazine’ characters which he created. No one really knows the origin of the word, ‘Hoohah’, but it may be come from the Hungarian word for WOW! Or more likely, it is simply a mix of Yiddish and European languages placed into the mouths of 'Mad Magazine' characters in what was always an insane and sometimes very funny satire on American Life. ‘Hoohah’ then, was brought into the vernacular being by the 'Mad Magazine' editors and has come to mean ‘A big commotion, a 'to do,' or a large amount of nonsense!’

Clear moves of God fulfil the Scriptures and in no way whatsoever are contrary to them.

Clear moves of God, both honour and lift Jesus high.
Clear moves of God are unstoppable.

Anything else is simply ‘A big commotion, a 'to do,' and a large amount of nonsense----- ‘HOOHAH!’

Let’s have the courage and the Scriptural rootedness to call it like it is, for I tell you this for nothing, as we speed toward the time of the end, the incidence of old ‘HooHah’ shall be dramatically on the increase and it's deception shall be shockingly powerful.

Learn to shout loud with me please then, are you ready? “HOOHAH!”

Listen: - "Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There!' do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand. (Matthew 24:23-25 NKJV)

Pray:- Lord, I have a simple and two fold prayer tonight, that first we might not be those that mock mysteries and second that the word ‘Hoohah’ would turn our very breath into the deadly and devasating, destruction of all deception, in Jesus name I ask it, amen.
