2 Samuel 24:12-14
"Go and tell David, 'Thus says the Lord: "I offer you three things; choose one of them for yourself, that I may do it to you."'" So Gad came to David and told him; and he said to him, "Shall seven years of famine come to you in your land? Or shall you flee three months before your enemies, while they pursue you? Or shall there be three days' plague in your land? Now consider and see what answer I should take back to Him who sent me." And David said to Gad, "I am in great distress. Please let us fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are great; but do not let me fall into the hand of man." NKJV.

MI19 was a section of the British Directorate of Military Intelligence, and in World War II it was responsible for obtaining information from enemy prisoners of war. In complete contrast to ‘The London Cage’ (the UK’s very own Guantanamo Bay in Plush Kensington Palace Gardens) several stately homes were opened up to some 4,000 German POW’s, mostly Officers. However, these places of comfort were part of a massive bugging operation on an unprecedented scale, encouraging the ‘settled’ and pampered prisoners to reveal their inner thoughts about the Third Reich and also let slip many a military secret that helped the Allies win the war. After 60 years, these now unclassified documents are open to research and so a modern day German scholar took the time to go through them and cross reference more than 100,000 hours of these secret recordings, which were now only available in transcript form. They show in particular, and in shocking detail, the soul shaking revelation of the complicity of even the rank-and-file soldiers and not just the SS, in taking part in Nazi war crimes; yes, taking part in brutal genocide. For us, they reveal all the outworked possibilities of the dark heart of man. May I speak as one human to another? It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God, but I would rather fall into His hands than yours.

 The beginning of the 21st century is seeing the start of a further possible global conflict, with regional wars ‘spring’-ing up all over the world and in particular in the Middle East. Depleted plutonium, Sarin nerve agents and other unseen nasty weapons, have, and are no doubt being brought into play and once more, despite the Red Cross and the Geneva convention, humanity’s black heart is again enveloping other human beings in horrific abuse and death. May I speak as one human to another? It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God, but I would rather fall into His hands than yours. 

The dark propensity of humanity is portrayed daily in our multimedia. Is it not a strange thing, a very strange thing, to portray chainsaw murder, gang rape, blood-sucking neck ripping decapitating eviscerating carnage all undressed in breath panting sex scenes, and then call it, ‘entertainment’? May I speak as one human to another? It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God, but I would rather fall into His hands than yours. 

I have been hurt. I have been robbed. I have been attacked. I have been betrayed. I have been ridiculed. I have been shamed. And in these black moments of my own life, I have seen the dark shadows and wrestled with the monsters that these actions of others have unlocked within me. May I speak as one human to another? It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God, but I would rather you fall into His hands than into mine. 

In this strange age of internal political correctness and external brutality to others, yes, in this strange age of rampant pornography, runaway pedophilia, genocidal abortion, greed, murder, revenge, hate, and ten thousand more sins besides, let us stop In us, that is, in our flesh, lies no good thing.”

The Bible is a cloth covered mirror in our churches nowadays, never mind our countries, but if we were to ever remove that cloth of ignorance and disregard, then a shining and fearful object would reflect back to us honestly and in stunning high definition that, “

I wonder, if that in all its ‘fluffy niceness’ that the church has become complicit, indeed, has even become collaborators with the enemy in the propagating of this most dastardly of lies.
