Title:- Believing, Blasting, Bellowing & ‘But God’ ing!
Joshua 24:2, 3 And Joshua said to all the people, “Thus says the LORD God of Israel: ‘Your fathers, including Terah, the father of Abraham and the father of Nahor, dwelt on the other side of the River in old times; and they served other gods. Then I took your father Abraham from the other side of the River, led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his descendants and gave him Isaac.’…….”
Before The Voice came Abram was an idol worshipper. He did not know God! Abram was just a seemingly insignificant person, amongst thousands of other seemingly insignificant people. In most matters, probably, he was better than some. In many others no doubt, he was worse than many. You see, there appears to be no substantial reason why the VOICE came to Abram. No reason at all that is, ‘BUT GOD!’ and now at the beginning of this year let’s let these two life-changing words become ours to possess and to use, every single day hereafter. ‘BUT GOD!’
In the time to come this year, we need to dwell on this sovereign fact that “God’s voice will come to many that are not seeking Him and He will choose them, challenge them and change them and as many as are ordained to believe, will do so.” You see friends, salvation is God’s idea, it is at His instigation, it is His work, and it is for His glory. In this world, as darkness once again settles upon the face of the deep, and accross the fallen faces in the deep, let us make both peace and preparation with this wonderful truth. We can do nothing. ‘BUT GOD’ can do everything!

Go on, give it a try today and make use of these explosive little terms the rest of the coming year. In Jesus dear friends, let me agree with you that this year is the year of profound climate change for you!
Listen: - And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:1-10
Pray: - Give me this year O my Jesus, mustard seeds faith to match the largeness of my mountains, a believing heart, moving feet and a shouting mouth. Amen and amen.
